The one and only cabin in the middle of the forest on a lush 40 acres in the beautiful Appalachian mountains. Disconnect from every day life by fishing in our private stocked pond, sitting by one of our 2 indoor fireplaces to read a book plucked from our extensive library, enjoy our outdoor firepit with fire wood provided, lay in our hammock under the stars, let your pooch play in our dog park, and sleep like a babe in quiet that only the country can provide.
A wall of windows running the length and height of the kitchen provides an ever-changing scene of nature no matter the season. Reserve your stay at the home of a renowned Kentucky war hero/Flying Tiger in this serene and peaceful space the general designed and built himself. A roomy 1480 square foot poplar and oak one-of-a-kind cabin with open floor plan. No stairs. Loft area for kids with table/chairs, bean bag, assorted pillows, etc. We can’t guarantee WIFI reception so we don’t offer it, but we get excellent cell phone service. Close to area attractions. What we have to offer: Open floor plan-1 bedroom with King Bed, attached shower/tub with washer/dryer. Luxurious high-end linens on bed with primaloft/ down pillows/comforter.
2nd bedroom with twin beds and attached shower. Beds also made with high-end linens.

A lovely short walk ( approximately 3 minutes if walking at a leisurely pace) takes you to our large fishing pond with a dock stocked with bluegill, crappie, and bass. No license required
