Welcome to the Cuckoo’s Nest and our little piece of paradise! With a wrap-around covered deck on the main floor, an open back deck on the third floor, and a crow’s nest (widow’s walk) on the fourth level, you’ll experience the absolute best views in Sargent of the sunrise, sunset, Gulf of Mexico, Intracoastal Waterway, and the San Bernard Wildlife Refuge!
Inside you’ll enjoy a bright and spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen filled with all new furnishings and beachy décor so you can relax and feel at home during your vacation getaway. The kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, utensils, pots and pans, cutlery, coffee maker, blender, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, basic spices, and more! A laundry room with full-size washer and dryer sits just off the kitchen, A fourth bedroom is set up as a home office to work remotely, if you must.
Take the interior spiral staircase to the third level lookout with a game table and an amazing 360° view of your surroundings; then climb up the exterior spiral staircase to the open “Nest” for a truly breathtaking bird’s eye view.
The home sleeps 9 in three designated bedrooms and an office with a futon. The master bedroom has a queen bed with private bath; the second bedroom has a queen bed; the third bedroom has a bunk bed with double on bottom and twin on top; and the office has a futon that turns into a double bed. Two tri-folding twin mattresses are also provided and perfect for a kid or teen to enjoy their own private space in the third level lookout!
Outside you’ll discover some of the best saltwater fishing and crabbing from the private lighted dock with sink on the ICW, or grab your rod and stroll over to the surf side. Clean your catch or just relax and visit downstairs around the outdoor bar with a stainless steel countertop and sink.
Crab traps, cast nets, landing nets, beach chairs, outdoor charcoal grill, fire pit and wood are all available for use.
No pets or animals allowed on the premises. Smoking is not permitted inside. No parties/events.
