Royal Deer Lodge in Denali

King’s Deer Lodge gives you the freedom to experience Alaska without the commercialized bustle of Denali Park central. Enjoy views of the Alaska Range from every window and embark on local adventures of every kind.
King’s Deer Lodge is a beautiful log home situated on five wooded acres 9 miles from Denali National Park Road. 229 Parks Restaurant & Tavern and the Prey restaurant are within a mile and open during the summer season. Denali National Park has visitor services year round.
The main floor of the lodge is lighted by large picture windows and rustic stained glass lamps. The kitchen is equipped with double ovens and a large refrigerator. There are two dining tables and stoneware dishes and utensils for 12. A Natuzzi leather couch provides rest and relaxation while a large selection of DVDs is available for entertainment.
Upstairs is the family room and three bedrooms. The McKinley Suite consists of the spacious master bedroom with a king size bed, queen bed, private bathroom, and jetted tub. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a Queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. There is a shared bathroom down the hall with a shower and large vanity. Large groups may request 2 additional mattresses..
Guests at King’s Deer Lodge are responsible for meals and general housekeeping during their stay. We recommend purchasing groceries before you come to Denali. Anchorage, Wasilla, or Three Bears in Healy have reasonable prices. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
The garage is reserved for storage and the use of the owners. Our family may access the garage during your stay. There is a large semi-unfinished basement with a bathroom, 3 queen beds and one twin bed.
