We are located at the doorstep of the Olympic National Park. A plethora of hiking trails, hot springs, mountain bike trails, fishing, beaches, waterfalls and rain forest adventures are all a stone’s throw away. Hurricane Ridge and Sol Duc Hot Springs are only a short drive away. Located 15 minutes from Port Angeles and the Victoria BC ferry, there is easy access to this gated community yet a world away from life’s stresses – yet less than 2 hours from the Edmonds/Kingston (90 minutes) and Seattle/Bainbridge (1 hr, 50 minutes) ferries.
We use our home as well, so you’ll find it fully stocked with pretty much everything you’ll need. The cozy cabin atmosphere spares no comfort in this 2000 built home. High quality beds, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, tons of space to roam, play and rest.
The lake is home to cutthroat & rainbow trout along with Kokanee fish. A private community boat launch and dock are available for your use as well as a community swimming area with slide (into the water). We stock life jackets (XL to infant), 5 kayaks, a 9′ row boat, 2 stand up paddle boards and some noodles. Bring a boat or jet skis. Inner-tubing, kayaking, fishing and swimming are commonplace at Lake Sutherland.
