We are conveniently located 15 minutes from the town of Bedford, 10 minutes to the Peaks of Otter Lodge and Campgrounds, 30 minutes to Lynchburg and Liberty University, 45 minutes to Roanoke, 30 minutes to Smith Mountain Lake. We are 5 minutes from the Peaks of Otter Winery and 10 minutes from Gross’s Orchard – both worth exploring for a true sense of this area. The town of Bedford is home to the National D-Day Memorial and is bursting with lots of quality Arts & Antiques in our quaint downtown area. Other day trips worth the visit include Appomattox where the Civil War ended, Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest, Monticello at UVA, Natural Bridge of VA, Train Museum and Taubman Art Museum in Roanoke and Liberty Mountain’s Snowflex Centre.

Cozy quiet serene

Amazing Weekend Getaway
My husband and I feel so blessed by the time spent at this amazing cottage. Our first blessing was being greeted by a very sweet horse. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. Fresh baked cookies on the table. We enjoyed the beauty of the property. Thank you for hosting us this weekend.
