Rochester House is close to restaurants, trails, family-friendly activities, and lake beaches. It’s convenient to many destinations, including LVRT, Hill Farmstead, Caspian Lake (beach) and Lost Nation Brewing. A short walk to the Farmer’s Market, grocery stores, and most village restaurants. Downtown is .7 miles, a 15 min walk. This may be too far in the winter. There is a city plowed sidewalk all the way during snow season if needed. The House of Pizza is only .2 miles (two blocks).
This house is in the village. It is not a secluded country location. There is a neighboring house close on one side. The road has a total of three houses on it. It’s close to the main road through town.
There is no air conditioning as summers are usually cool. Each bedroom is equipped with a box fan to cool down the rooms in the evening if there is a rare heat wave. The home is heated and stays warm during the winter.

Fantastic house, clean and lots of character! We stayed here while visiting family in the area. Everything was as expected from the listing. Paul was very accommodating and easy to work with via email. No problems at all and would definitely come back here!
