If seclusion and serenity are what you are looking for, this is the place for you! Argyle Acres is a 500 sq. ft. cabin sitting on 15 acres with stunning views of the Black Hills. We are located just 19 miles outside of Custer. The property is suitable for families, couples and friends. 2 bedroom, 1 bath with living room and kitchen. One bedroom has a queen size mattress and the other has two twin mattresses. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to easily prepare a meal. All linens and towels are provided, as well as complimentary toiletries. We do not charge a cleaning fee. The cabin is equipped with a keyless entry making your arrival and departure seamless. Our personal home sits on the same property along with our RV. We will not intrude on your privacy, but will be available for any questions or concerns.
After a long day of adventure, return to enjoy an evening listening to song birds and watching for wildlife. As day turns to night, star gazing is made easy without the interference of artificial lights. If you are looking for more adventure, the Black Hills National Forest trails, and The Mickelson Trail are both located within a mile of the property. We have two corrals located next to the cabin, and additional space for trailers. We also have an additional full hook up RV site available for renting.
Departing Argyle Acres in any direction leads to amazing Black Hills adventures. We are centrally located between two national parks, and the Nation’s second largest state park. Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, and Custer State Park are among the most popular attractions in the Black Hills. Hot Springs to the south offers the Mammoth Site, and Evans Plunge. Traveling north you will find Crazy Horse Memorial, and Mount Rushmore. If day trips are of interest to you, Badlands National Park to the East, and Devils Tower National Monument to the West are well worth the trip.
