Ideally suited for two couples or friends/family traveling together. It is an 1100 Sq. Ft. Condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms located on a quiet tree lined residential street in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Santa Fe. (Children over 13 are welcome, under 13, please contact me prior to booking.)
The Old Trails Condominium Complex was built in 1983 on the site of a former estate and features only 5 units in an L shape. Bella Casa is located at the inside corner, which allows for both front and back patios that are completely private. Two off-street Reserved Parking spots are just steps from the front gate. This neighborhood is known as the South Capitol Historic District and is less than a mile from the center of the Santa Fe Plaza, the Railyard, Canyon Road and blocks from the State Capitol “Round House”. In fact, the Plaza, Bella Casa Condo and the Railyard form a perfect Triangle for a fabulous location in all directions.
Cathedral bells can be heard outside and will guide you towards one of the most interesting spots in the entire country! Galleries, Art, History and Folk Art Museums, Canyon Road, Children’s Museum, Meow Wolf, Farmers Markets, Art Shows, restaurants, wineries, sunsets, spas, golfing, skiing, hiking, cycling! Day trips are easily accomplished throughout Northern New Mexico and Albuquerque is less than an hour south. Airports are conveniently located in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
Bella Casa is an adobe with high ceilings featuring exposed vigas, Kiva fireplace, brick floors throughout, a cooks kitchen, and above all, privacy. The two separated bedrooms with baths (one 8 steps up, one 8 steps down) allows for complete guest privacy.
The front and back patios have been completely redesigned and re-landscaped in 2018 and give you an indoor/outdoor feeling throughout the condo as well as great light. The living area (with upgraded queen sleeper sofa), a fully equipped kitchen, new full size front loading washer and dryer all add to your comfort. The upstairs King bed and bath suite along with the downstairs Queen bed and adjacent bath are especially nice for guest privacy should you travel with two couples, with your family or just a fun girls trip. Both bedrooms have cable enabled flat screen TV’s, as does the living area which also has a DVR. A DVD player is available.
