Washington Park, Close to Downtown

Welcome to Washington Park, one of Denver’s most charming, oldest and most historic neighborhoods. You will be staying 7 blocks west of the park where you can enjoy many outdoor activities like jogging, walking, volleyball and biking. There are tennis courts, large flower gardens and a recreation center with an indoor pool. The park also has two lakes where you can rent paddle boats.

You are also located two miles from Denver’s best shopping, Cherry Creek Mall, and high end stores. Downtown is only 3.5 miles away and the University of Denver is only 3 miles away from this neighborhood home. If you want to enjoy the neighborhood there are several great restaurants, bars and coffee shops that you can easily walk to.

Our home was built in 1893 and the apartment upstairs is newly furnished and is completely private. It has one bedroom with a queen and one with a full size mattress, a queen size pull out sofa and a full size pull out day bed in the living room. The kitchen has a mid-size refrigerator/freezer and is fully equipped with all of your kitchen needs. There is  however there is a portable induction range that can be used for anything that would otherwise be cooked on a stove top. The proper pots and pans are provided. There is also a microwave, toaster oven and toaster available
