1939 Vintage House, Walk Linfield/3rd St, Outdoor Fire Place, BBQ, Pet Friendly

We named this house the “1939 Vintage House” because it has been carefully preserved and loved by its past owners. This home was built in 1939 and has an original 1939 plaque under the bay window. Once inside, you will see and feel the charm of its architectural details come to life. From that era, the house features original brushed pendant light fixtures, arched doorways, glass doorknobs, and antique dust covers bordering the stairways. The house has also been recently remodeled to include the comforts of today, such as a new kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, a new bathroom with a subway tile shower, refinished hardwood floors, and central air. The fully fenced backyard has a covered patio with a brick fireplace, propane BBQ, and plenty of outdoor seating. The kitchen looks out onto the backyard, an easy flow back and forth for outdoor entertaining.
While experiencing the charm and comfort of the 1939 Vintage House, it’s also a great hub to walk to Linfield College and McMinnville’s Historic Downtown, our Famous Third Street. Once you arrive and park in our driveway, you can forget about your car. This house is great for attending Linfield College events and football games. But don’t forget to take a stroll down McMinnville’s Third Street. Our Famous Third Street is the epicenter of the Willamette Valley’s Oregon Wine Country. It all starts here, where you can enjoy 17 wineries & tasting rooms, 34 unique restaurants, and seven tap rooms & breweries. And, you can wander through many antique and specialty shops while lapping up an ice cream cone from Serendipity’s Ice-Cream Shop.
If you wish to venture out, you can drive to the countryside and see the picturesque vineyards and rolling hills. Along the way, you will find many places to stop, wine taste, and find a bite to eat.
