At FindYourSpot.com, we aim to provide flexibility and clarity to both guests and property owners. Our cancellation policy ensures a fair balance between protecting the interests of guests and property hosts while providing transparency in every booking process.

Cancellation Policy for Guests

Flexible Cancellation Policy:

  • Full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made between 3 to 6 days before check-in.
  • No refund for cancellations made less than 3 days before check-in.

Moderate Cancellation Policy:

  • Full refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made between 7 to 13 days before check-in.
  • No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in.

Strict Cancellation Policy:

  • 50% refund for cancellations made at least 30 days before check-in.
  • No refund for cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in.

Refunds for Emergencies:

  • In case of emergencies (e.g., medical issues, natural disasters), guests may request a refund by contacting our support team with relevant documentation. These cases are reviewed individually.

Cancellation Policy for Property Owners

Guest-Initiated Cancellations:

  • If a guest cancels, the property owner is notified immediately.
  • Refund policies are applied based on the cancellation policy chosen for the listing.

Owner-Initiated Cancellations:

  • If a property owner cancels a booking, the guest is entitled to a full refund.
  • Frequent cancellations by property owners may result in penalties or suspension of the listing.

Refund Timeline:

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after a cancellation is approved.

How to Cancel a Reservation

  • Log in to your FindYourSpot.com account.
  • Navigate to “My Bookings.”
  • Select the booking you want to cancel and click Cancel Reservation.
  • Review the cancellation terms and confirm your action.
  • Log in to your account.
  • Go to “My Reservations” and locate the booking.
  • Click Cancel Booking and provide a reason.

Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees are non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation policy. These include:

  • Cleaning fees
  • Taxes and service fees
  • Processing fees

No-Show Policy

If a guest fails to check in without prior notice, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

Modifications to Bookings

  • If a guest wishes to modify their booking (e.g., change dates), the property owner’s approval is required. Additional charges may apply for date changes.
  • Modified bookings are subject to the same cancellation policy.

Key Terms to Include

  • Refund Timeline: Refunds may take up to 7–10 business days to appear in the guest’s account, depending on the payment method.
  • Payment Disputes: Any disputes related to cancellations must be reported to Support@FindYourSpot.com within 30 days of the booking date.
  • Force Majeure Clause: Cancellations due to uncontrollable events (e.g., natural disasters) are eligible for special consideration under our “Force Majeure” policy.
